Saying Goodbye to Silli

Today we lost Silli, a 9 year canine resident of One More Smith. We rescued an emaciated and very sick Silli from the beach in Aruba and brought her and her 9 newborn puppies home with us.

I’m happy to report One More Smith was fully operational by noon today. The staff rocks. Better news – 6 cats were released from medical isolation!

We have never been more excited; We walked into the almost finished Purdy’s Perch Medical Room. It is such advancement for us.
Your support is helping us to build Purdy’s Perch, which will help facilitate wellness in the cats struggling with continual illness. This room will be a sterile and serine environment. For residents that come with severe medical or neglect and need to heal or get well.
One More Smith Pet Rescue’s Ourdoor Cat Yard, affectionately called, “The Sanctuary.”
