Silli

November 30, 2009
Silli and her nine puppies were rescued from the Caribbean island of Aruba during a horrific distemper outbreak. Silli and her pups were homeless; she had hidden them under a performance stage next to an island resort. Emaciated and barely able to nurse, she was hospitalized for three weeks with the puppies until she was deemed well enough to fly. Upon her arrival in the States, she was rushed to a veterinarian with a bad infection. A hysterectomy was performed and her life was saved. The heartworm she had has been reocurring and debilitating, making it necessary for Silli to remain a resident at One More Smith. Please consider sponsoring Silli today. Sponsor Silli
