Freckles

December 30, 2009
One of our newer residents, a beautiful yet feral girl named Freckles, is resting comfortably at the vet’s, being treated for a very bad upper respiratory infection. ‘Tis the season…..we can’t wait for Purdy’s Perch to be completed, so sick animals can remain onsite while they are recuperating. Thank you to everyone …for your donations…we could not do it without your support. You are making a huge difference in the lives of so many needy animals! Freckles came in with a group from a hoarders home you probably heard of in the news. Isn’t it amazing that a rescue effort that was so famous, still needs places like OMS for these cast-aways. Purdy’s Perch is so important because the cost of housing a sick animal overnight at a hospital could be $500 to $1000 a day.
